The role is part of the Councils commitment to providing high quality service to its customers and ensuring as many enquiries as possible are resolved at the first point of contact and will include:
Working with the Customer Services Advisors and Team Leaders to identify and deliver training and coaching required in relation to Council services, to drive continuous improvement
To identify business processes, develop and deliver training required for new services transferring into the Customer Services Team.
To work with the Customer Services Manager and Team Leaders in producing and analysing the performance statistics required in this challenging environment.
To monitor performance against these service standards.
Candidates need to be educated to GSCE/O level, have a working knowledge of MS Office, including Powerpoint. Experience in delivering coaching and training in a one to one and group sessions and knowledge of Local Authority service delivery would be an advantage.
You will be organised and able to work under pressure, with the ability to take on new skills quickly. Good negotiation and communication skills and experience in dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone are also key.
