Post of: Deputy Graduate Teacher Programme Manager – temporary part time (2 days per week until 31/08/2013 initially)

The SCITT in East London Schools is a consortium of schools in Newham and neighbouring boroughs working in partnership to provide outstanding primary teacher training.

We are looking for a hard working and committed person to join the team. If you are a quick learner, effective communicator and have an understanding of effective teaching and learning then we would like to hear from you.

The role would include:

• Tracking Graduate Teachers’ progress

• Supporting professional and school based tutors in carrying out their role

• Visiting partnership schools

• Working with others in the team to support developments in ITT.

An ITT background is not essential and secondments will be considered:

Visits to the school are welcome and encouraged by arrangement with the Programme Manager.

Start date negotiable.
