Due to the promotion of the previous post holder, the Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated, creative and inspirational Deputy Headteacher. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Headteacher to take a leading role in shaping the future of our school which was judged to be outstanding when last inspected by Ofsted.

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for learning and teaching.
• Has successful primary school senior leadership experience and proven skills in leading school improvement.
• Have the ability to motivate and lead staff, children, parents, carers and other stakeholders.
• Have exemplary managerial, organisational and interpersonal skills combined with a caring approach and a sense of humour.
• Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of our pupils.
• Is aspiring to headship and committed to their own professional development.

Specific areas of responsibility are flexible but will include the development of the new primary National Curriculum and child protection.
