Deputy Network Manager

We are seeking a Deputy Network Manager to join our IT Department due to an on-going programme of expansion of our IT systems, including our VMware and Citrix infrastructures. You will provide a high level of technical and organisational assistance to the Network Manager, and will support the management, effective operation, development and administration of all computer network systems throughout the school. You will be closely involved with high level technical projects, developing robust IT systems for staff and student use.

This role would be an ideal first step for an experienced Senior Technician move into management.

You will have a thorough knowledge of computer design and components, computer network design (LAN and WAN), structured network cabling, equipment and components and the ability to analyse and solve technical problems. You must have significant experience working with Windows Server systems and proven experience of Active Directory administration.
