An exciting and challenging management opportunity has arisen in one of our adult assessment teams. Doncasters Adult services are “Performing Well” and we are now looking for the right individual to help take us to the next level. You will be expected to carry out a key role in supporting the Team Manager in the day to day operational management of one of our busy assessment teams. You will support Social workers, occupational therapists and assessment officers in providing an effective assessment service to both elderly people and younger physically disabled adults. You will be a well organised, skilled and experienced practitioner with good interpersonal skills . As well as having experience in safeguarding adults you will also play a leading part in driving forward the personalisation agenda. In the absence of the Team manager you will have full deputising responsibilities and so a flexible and adaptable approach will be essential. Your prioritisation skills will be tested as you confidently balance and manage these competing demands on your time. The ideal candidate will be an experienced social care practitioner with a thorough and widespread understanding of working with adults.
