This exciting and challenging role is critical to achieving Macmillan’s vision to create a sector leading digital experience.
Leading a programme of work across Digital Media, your key priorities will be to successfully integrate the programme within wider Macmillan change projects and to ensure that work is both fully in line with our strategic priorities and realises the maximum benefit from digital services across Macmillan. You will also lead, coach and support our project management team to ensure all activities are expertly planned and delivered on time, in budget and to specification.
It’s a role that will involve you in cutting-edge projects and demand the best of your project and people management skills. Clearly, that makes it important that you have experience managing budgets and specialist skills in website project management (including Agile methodologies). This must be supported by high level experience of website management and development.
But we also need you to demonstrate real marketing ability accompanied by a strong grasp of corporate identity and branding issues and experience of managing electronic communications. And, as leader of a strategically critical team and as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, it is essential that you can evidence an ability to build strong and productive working relationships within your own and other teams as well as with internal stakeholders and external agencies and suppliers. This includes the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation, regardless of their technical experience or understanding.
In return for your commitment and expertise, we commit to actively developing you and our benefits include BUPA, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous annual leave and interest-free loans for season ticket and gym memberships.
