The Director reports to the Board of Trustees through the Chairman. He or she is personally accountable for the overall leadership and management of all aspects of RBG, Kew and its activities and is the designated Accounting Officer. S/he leads and is accountable for RBG, Kew’s strategic, scientific and corporate objectives and is the principal ambassador for Kew in the widest sense, in the local community, nationally and internationally.
