E-Learning Officer (Web)

The Learning Department is looking for a motivated person to manage the development of the extensive learning section of the museum’s website and work with colleagues and external web developers on the creation of new online learning resources for schools, children and adults. There will also be opportunities to develop museum-based e-learning activities using digital technologies and contribute to exhibition development and other website projects.

An awareness of the value of online learning for museums and a track record in producing web-based learning resources, ideally in a heritage, arts or education environment is essential. You must also have a keen eye for detail; and excellent project management, interpersonal and ICT skills.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on 21 July 2008. Interviews will be held during the week beginning 4 August.
