Will You Make a Difference?

Not everyone in Reading can access all the opportunities that are available to them and some people are being left behind, and we want to stop this happening.

The Troubled Families programme is a five year national programme with the aim of transforming the lives of the most vulnerable and complex families. For Reading this means by 2020 we will have improved the outcomes for 1,170 families who are being left behind. In order to deliver this, we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Project Manager to drive the development and ongoing delivery of the programme.

The Early Help Project Manager will support the delivery of the of the TF Programme and Early Help projects; supporting Reading Borough Council and its partners to further transform the way we narrow the gap for our vulnerable troubled families, and ensure we create the best start for children.

We are looking for a dynamic person who has excellent communication and negotiation skills and who has the ability to lead, support, challenge and motivate staff and peers to improve practice for families prioritised within the Troubled Families Programme.
