Salary:Soulbury 13-16 £45,695–£49,129 (inclusive of 2 SPA points) + Casual Car User allowance

You will support the city wide implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage and lead an area Ready for School Quality Improvement team to monitor, challenge and support Early Years settings, including schools, Children’s Centres and childminders to secure continuous improvement of standards.
The post offers:-
•An exciting opportunity to lead the training and support across all early years settings to support the city wide implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage which contribute to the statutory Early Years Outcomes Duty
•Management of an area team of Quality Improvement and Early Years Effectiveness Officers who monitor, challenge and evaluate the quality and impact of strategies and interventions in order to secure improved outcomes at the end of the foundation stage and ensure continuous quality improvement across all sectors
•The chance to work as part of a multi disciplinary team to improve outcomes for young children and their families
•The chance to work across maintained and non maintained sectors and support the Assistant Head of Service in ensuring the effective discharging of the Local Authority’s statutory duties.
You will be a qualified Teacher, have recent and successful experience of leading on Early Years Foundation Stage in a mainstream primary school or local authority and have knowledge and understanding of current issues relating to Early Years Foundation Stage.
Part time appointments may be possible.
