We are developing a team of self-motivated and enthusiastic enablers to develop and deliver workshops and activities for school groups and families
at Knaresborough Castle, the Royal Pump Room Museum and the Mercer Art Gallery.
The role is varied, including:
· delivering established workshops to schools, as and when bookings are taken, on the subjects of Ancient Egypt, the Victorians, the Tudors and art, sometimes as a costumed character
· delivering activities for children families, especially during the school holidays
· developing creative new ideas and activities for both school and family audiences.
Experience of working with children in a formal or informal educational role is essential, ideally with proven interest in the museums and galleries sector.

As you will have access to children you will need a Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, the Council will issue the application form and pay the fee.
