Salary:Grade 10 (scp 40-43) £33,661-£36,313 + Casual car user allowance, some weekend working

Location:Stonefield House, Hull 

Are you a highly motivated and experienced practitioner with a proven record for delivering quality training to other professionals? Can you work collaboratively with colleagues and practitioners across the partnership? Could you support the development of family focused work that interfaces with young people’s drug or alcohol treatment? If so, then we would like to hear from you.

You will be a competent professional who can who is committed to promoting and safeguarding of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults at all times.

Your value base and practice will be restorative and empowering with a firm focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to supervise a small team of practitioners. You will be responsible for the smooth day to day delivery of this contract working with the service manager to ensure that outcomes are achieved and targets are met.

You will have a relevant training, health, social or youth work qualification. You will also have previous experience of delivering training and of providing evidenced based parenting programmes.

This new post will operate as part of the Education, Prevention and Early Identification Service delivered through a new partnership between Hull City Council and Compass. Funded by NHS Hull and Hull’s Children’s Trust, the service will provide a range of universal and targeted interventions for children, young people and families to reduce the harm caused by drugs and alcohol.
