Easily accessible and located between London and the continent, Medway is an ambitious, bustling and thriving place to live and work.

We are a dynamic and innovative local authority determined to provide high quality services that meet the social, emotional and educational needs of children and young people. The EPS is part of the Children and Adults Caring and Learning Directorate and sits in the Inclusion Division. This will be a fantastic opportunity to be part of an EPS that has already established multi-agency working both in education and across social care and will continue whilst remaining within an EPS Team.

We are a team of skilled EPs who value working directly with children within the context of schools, families and the community.

We have:

· a clear consultation based model of service delivery, including a casework commissioning process that enables the EPS to meet school and individual needs flexibly and effectively;
· a strong commitment to multi-agency working;
· opportunities to apply psychology at an organisational and systemic level to promote inclusion and achieve whole school improvement across the authority;
· flexible work arrangements within the team.

Any offer of appointment will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau enhanced disclosure.
