£29,424 - £33,627 p.a. + additional £7,000 Market Supplement p.a. (paid in monthly instalments on top of salary).
Islington Council’s Housing Department is looking to recruit an Electrical Inspector to undertake quality checks on work carried out to its housing stock this includes emergency and amenity lighting, door entry systems, CCTV, risers and laterals, and internal domestic installations.
The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record undertaking electrical inspections but newly qualified electrical engineers will also be considered. Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills are essential as is the ability to keep good electronic records. An understanding of procurement and contract administration processes would be helpful.
