We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing team in Sidcup. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment you will provide a pro-active and effective Employee Relations Advisory and Case Management Service to managers and employees across Avenues Group.

With a focus on supporting our people managers to implement policy, operate within the parameters of UK/EU employment legislation and develop best practice, this is the ideal position for a passionate and experienced human resources professional to develop their career in a growing organisation.

What knowledge and experience should you have?
As an Employee Relations Advisor you will:

Provide accurate, effective and timely ER advice to managers and employees.
Act as a one-stop-shop for all disciplinary, performance management and grievance cases.
Provide support during times of change on issues including TUPE transfers, redundancies and terms and conditions reviews.
Periodically audit relevant information stored on our HR Information System.
Ensure that Avenues Group employee relations policies are relevant and representative of employment law and industry best-practice.


What skills and abilities will you need?
The successful candidate will:

Have knowledge of UK and European employment law.
Have experience of providing an Employee Relations or HR Advisory Service to internal customers.
Be a confident communicator to a wide range of audiences with the ability to influence at all levels
Have experience of managing conduct, grievance and performance cases with the ability to effectively manage your own case load.
Be pro-active, dynamic and able to approach your role with creativity and enthusiasm.
Be able to analyse, interpret and act on data relevant to your role.
