Employer Liaison Manager (MU)/Business Connector Manager (LBB)

Joint Appointment between Middlesex University and the London Borough of Barnet

Temporary fixed term for 2 years in the first instance.

We are looking for a dynamic senior manager who can establish and maintain excellent working relationships and connections with employers for the purpose of developing work experience and employment opportunities for students studying at Middlesex University and graduates living in the London Borough of Barnet.

The successful candidate will identify ways in which businesses would be willing to engage with both Barnet and the University in contributing towards the employability agenda in both organisations. This might include employer participation in curriculum development, assessment and implementation, participation in the employability programme, membership of stakeholder groups, leading the development of funding bids and promotion and dissemination activities. They will also lead on the development, implementation and management of the Business Support agenda within the council.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to lead and deliver change and improvement programmes in partnership with private and public sector partners.
