Skills for Work – Learning Services

The Skills for Work Service delivers a range of training and employment programmes to unemployed young people and adults facing barriers to engaging in the labour market. An opportunity exists to provide a user-friendly, learner-centred job search service to enable learners to access and sustain suitable employment. To work pro-actively with employers to support this process.

You should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an employment/training/recruitment function
  • Experience of working with unemployed people and supervision of groups
  • Experience of working with external agencies and local employers
  • Knowledge of local labour market.
  • Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (grade C or above) or equivalent including English Language OR have NVQ Level 3 in Advice & Guidance
