Ealing’s housing regeneration programme offers one of the greatest opportunities to influence energy use and reduce carbon emissions from both new developments and existing stock. To that end we are looking to put in place a sustainable Energy Efficiency Strategy, which you will help to develop, monitor and deliver.

You will design, manage and promote initiatives that help to tackle fuel poverty, reduce carbon emissions and ensure our housing stock meets the Decent Homes standard for energy efficiency. It will be down to you to champion energy efficiency across the housing service and amongst external stakeholders. That will include working with developers and RSLs to ensure quality protocols are met and, where necessary, helping to secure external funding for sustainable energy efficiency projects.

This kind of work won’t be new to you. You’ll have a background in a similar discipline and, ideally, previous experience of working in a public sector environment. Alongside that you’ll be the kind of person who can analyse a wide variety of statistical data and use it to create powerful, compelling messages capable of engaging a wide variety of people.
