Enterprise Support Officer

Fixed-Term Opportunity until 31 December 2013 (With possibility of extension, subject to availability of funding)

You will support the Project Manager in the delivery of the ERDF funded Enterprise Catalyst (2) Project by contributing to the provision of business support to local businesses in developing, implementing, and delivering projects ensuring that projects contribute to the Enterprise Catalyst Business Support Initiative’s objectives and delivery plan; maintaining systems and procedures to provide management information; support the process for appraisal and review of projects and; monitor the performance of projects against agreed output targets and spend profiles.

You will support the development of effective local partnership mechanisms and active involvement of businesses which will ultimately lead to business grant assistance and applications. This will include supporting businesses in applying for grant, ensuring that appraisal panels are convened following agreed guidelines and ensure that all necessary approvals are in place and that all conditions of approval for ERDF funding have been met prior to the release of ERDF grant and all documents are complete and placed on file to facilitate monitoring and audit.
