Environmental Health Officer (Food & Occupational Safety)

Based in the Food and Occupational Safety Team, your duties will cover the full range of food safety, health and safety, and infectious disease control in an attractive urban and rural area.
You should possess a Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, be registered by the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB), and have graduate or voting member status of the CIEH. You should also have experience of inspecting high-risk premises and having knowledge of dealing with ‘approved’ food premises would be advantageous.
This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2009. The hours are from 22 up to 37 per week, to be agreed.
