The contrasts and challenges in Environmental Health Commercial work range from the dozens of restaurants in the “Curry Capital” of Brick Lane, to the high-tech corporate world-wide financial institutions in Canary Wharf, employing thousands of people using the Services that Environmental Health is responsible for.
We are at the cutting edge of Environmental Health using education, advisory and enforcement tools to obtaining health improvements for the Community and Businesses in the Borough. This has resulted in strong partnerships with external agencies that have enabled us to be innovative in our approach to Environmental Health.
