Environmental Health Officer - Food & Safety Team

Salary:£22,845 - £31,606pa (pay award pending) + car allowance up to £2,737.50pa 

Hours:37 hours per week (altho' consideration will be given to job share) 

Working pattern:Full Time, Part Time, Permanent position

Committed to putting our customers first and providing high quality services, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team player who is prepared to face a variety of challenges and want to make a difference to the Environmental Health Services provided. As a Food and Safety Officer you will be responsible for undertaking a rigorous food safety and health & safety inspection programme in a wide range of food businesses. You will also be responsible for investigating service requests, accidents, infectious disease notifications and contribute to a range of food projects and health and safety initiatives.

An excellent communicator, you will be computer literate with good analytical skills. You should have good negotiation skills and be an active team player. Educated to degree or diploma standard (or equivalent), you will be a member of CIEH, possess EHROB registration and have passed your professional interview, examinations and log book/ELP.
