Estimator (Highways)

We are seeking an Estimator in the Highways Group to assist the Principal Engineer Highways in delivering our Highway Maintenance programme in the Borough.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to prepare estimates for highway maintenance works working with bill of quantities and schedule of rates contracts. You will assist in monitoring capital and revenue funded schemes issued to the Council’s highway maintenance contractor ensuring that they are progressing within budget. You will keep a filing/database system up to date.
