We are now seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial individual to proactively lead the strategic management of our Regulatory Executive function. In this high-profile role, your challenge will be to identify new opportunities, drive continuous improvement and deliver what the public want at prices they can afford.

You could achieve this by creating effective partnering arrangements internally, or by taking an external focus and exploring all avenues available for more diverse and cost-effective ways of delivering services. In either case, your goal will be to provide excellent outcomes that are centred on the needs of the customer.

Shaping, developing and managing a range of services relating to the built environment, you will take responsibility for statutory and strategic housing, planning policy and conservation, development management, drainage and land charges. We also need you to oversee the work of our Regulatory Teams, ensure that our policies meet changing priorities and promote high quality housing for our communities.

A confident communicator and decision maker who can influence thinking at the highest level, you have the proven ability to build strong business partnerships (both internally and externally). First-rate leadership and strategic planning skills are also important, together with a commercially focused approach and the vision to inspire positive change.
