Extended Services Co-ordinator

Localities

The Localities service is part of the recently restructured Department of Services to Children and Young People, responsible for delivering prevention and early intervention services 0–19. Extended Services deliver the extended schools core offer, and work with a number of schools in each locality to support them in improving their levels of pupil attainment. This is a new arrangement and you will be able to influence the way schools work in partnership.

You must have:

• A relevant level 4 qualification in work with children and young people;
• At least 3 years experience managing projects;
• Experience of multi agency partnership working; securing funding from a wide range of sources; managing budgets and using Common Assessment Framework.
