We’re looking for a motivated Facilities Operative to make a real difference to our service users at the Lister Hospital and Birch Court sites in Hertfordshire. You may also be required to cover other sites as and when necessary.
In addition to maintaining these areas to a high standard through a wide range of facilities management duties, you will also have the opportunity to provide a maintenance/basic repair service to our tenants and monitor the work of appropriate contractors. Providing maintenance support to our office based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage and being on hand to assist with emergencies will also form part of this rewarding role.
Strong communication and team working skills are essential as is your ability to build strong relationships with service users in a discrete and confidential manner. If you have previous caretaking/facilities experience, a good knowledge of Health and Safety, and the ability to travel between sites, then this exciting opportunity could be for you.
The successful candidate must have a current, valid driving licence and access to own vehicle during working hours.
This role is subject to an enhanced CRB check.
