This is a brand new post in which you’ll help develop advice and assistance to those businesses, including estate and property management agents and solicitors together with public authorities, involved with the production and use of Home Information Packs and Display Energy Certificates. Such businesses must comply with the relevant legislation in order to meet their statutory obligations and on occasion it might be necessary to take enforcement action to ensure compliance with the law. Experience of trading standards or another regulatory background would be an advantage together with a real drive to investigate matters and get to the bottom of issues.
