Salary:£18,453 - £27,052 bar at £22,958 a year

We have a vacancy for a Family Support worker in an under 11 Locality social care team.

You will work with children young people and their families to assist them to overcome difficulties they may be facing, to reduce the risk of harm or family breakdown and to help them maximise their potential.

You will need experience of working with children or young people and their families. You should be a car driver – we will make reasonable adjustments under the DDA for disabled people.

Derby has moved significantly towards co-ordinating and integrating services and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of these developments. We offer excellent support, supervision and training. You will be required to work flexibly including some weekend work.
