FIELDWORK SUPPORT ASSESSOR

Hours:37 hours per week (temporary to 31/03/2009) 

Working pattern:Full Time, Temporary position 

Location:Edinburgh House, Coronation Square, Cheltenham, Glos.

Following its initial success in tackling Countywide areas of poor performance and departmental ‘hotspots’, it has been decided to extend the pilot with the Performance Response Team.

Due to the permanent promotion of one of our staff, there is now an exciting opportunity for secondment or short term contract for a Fieldwork Support Assessor [FSS3], to cover the 6 month period from October to March. The work focuses on assessment, reviews and short term pieces of work to provide additional support for Locality Teams where the need has been identified by performance.

If you are reliable, hard working, able to work autonomously, enjoy a challenge and are prepared to travel as required, then we want to hear from you. You will need experience of working in health or social care, and be able to assess the needs of vulnerable adults living in the Community. We can offer training, regular supervision and managerial support, countywide experience to inform career development, and a quick turnover of rewarding and satisfying work.
