An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Finance Assistant to the new North Ridge Community School. The school is currently at an exciting stage of development, with a new building due to open in January 2009 which will have excellent facilities. Until the completion of the new building the school will operate as a split site. The post will initially be based at Adwick (previously Fernbank School), and there will be ample opportunities for professional and personal development.
The successful candidate will maintain the school’s accounting function, ensuring Best Value and efficient use of resources, and will also have:
· experience of the SIMS FMS system
· experience of prioritising and managing tasks
· effective organisational skills and ability to work on their own initiative
· a good working knowledge of computerised information systems including data bases and excel spreadsheets
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
· a flexible approach to working hours
The school has a friendly and supportive governing body and staff team where everyone is valued.
