This Role is based in the Finance Department.
The Rent Collection Service is responsible for the collection and recovery of rent and other charges from Council tenants. We are looking for a Rent Collection Officer who can help us achieve continual improvements in the recovery of our current debts.
You will have an understanding of the current economic climate and the difficulties that tenant’s may experience.
Several years experience of debt recovery action in a social landlord environment is essential. You must be able to demonstrate strong customer care skills and the ability to use their own initiative and work well with a team.
You will have strong computer and keyboard skills and must hold maths and English GCSE A to C or equivalent or be able to demonstrate competency in everyday use of Maths and English.
