Financial Accountant

Genesis Housing Association is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant, based in their London office.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, this role is responsible for: monthly reconciliations; producing the groups consolidated statutory accounts, including preparing the audit files; taking ownership of the groups monthly Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and VAT returns ensuring compliance with statute and; liaising with and providing information to HMRC, National Office of Statistics and the auditors.

About you
You must be a fully qualified accountant with outstanding technical skills and have previously carried out group consolidations. A strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax and VAT is essential.
