Medway Youth Service would like to appoint individuals to undertake the management and delivery of youth work; both within a centre based facility and detached setting. This will be accomplished through the delivery of the Youth Service programme, as part of the Gillingham and Chatham area teams.

There is an expectation that the person appointed would work a minimum of three evenings per week and no more than eight anti social sessions in a two-week period.

Experience in managing a team and budgets are essential, as is a demonstrable face-to-face work with young people. We would be interested in applicants whom have experience working in a variety of young peoples services.

This is an exciting time to join Medway’s Youth Service, which has recently been restructured to meet the needs of integrated delivery.

The person appointed will report directly to the Area Youth Work Manager
