When you look for a new employer, choose somewhere that cares as much about its staff as it does about its customers. Like London & Quadrant. For five years running now, we have been listed by the Sunday Times as one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK. While we’re very proud, it only confirms what our staff have known for ages, that we have long placed a strong emphasis on staff training, welfare and development.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Graduate Development Programme. We are looking for high calibre graduates with the following skills and attributes:• Awareness of current housing issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong academic record with a minimum 2:1 degree classification
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• The ability to produce high quality work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proven team-working ability
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft packages.
As an Investor in People, the L&Q Group is fully aware of the benefits to be gained by recognising the efforts of our people. So we offer successful candidates a leading edge two-year graduate development programme. The programme consists of four work placements, each of six months duration, based at one of our main offices (Stratford, Woolwich, West Norwood, Slough, Eltham, Blackheath). These four placements will provide extensive experience in the foundation elements of our business, such as Tenancy Services, Development, Sales & Marketing, and Neighbourhood Investment.
You will be supported by trained supervisors, managers and mentors, receive regular feedback and coaching and will have the opportunity to participate in high calibre internal and external training initiatives. In return a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer.
If you are considering working for the L&Q Group, a good first move is to put away any preconceptions you might have about social housing and the voluntary sector. You will find working in social housing with L&Q, sometimes challenging, frequently enjoyable but always satisfying.
