Graduate Trainee

If you’re an ambitious, self-motivated person who has recently graduated, this is your chance to gain some invaluable professional experience. The Graduate Trainee programme at Harrogate Borough Council will give you the opportunity to learn about local government, develop personally and professionally and build your self-confidence. You will be given specific projects to complete with full support from the Management Teams. Full training will also be given.

There are a number of Graduate Trainee positions available in a variety of teams across the Council. Working in different teams will give you the opportunity to experience the diversity of services the Council provides.

Please include within your application form a maximum of two sides of A4 on one of the following subjects;

The use of social networking sites in Local Government
How does the public sector deal with change?
How can local authorities contribute to creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable world?

This is a temporary contract for 9 months.
