Group Director of Architecture & Business Systems Design

This new post, reporting to the Chief Information Officer, presents the exciting opportunity to support the groups long term business plans by developing a strategic approach to Information and Enterprise Architecture, Applications Development and associated Standards.

The post holder will be responsible for advising the Group CIO on future technology direction and strategic business projects, developing policies, governance and road maps to improve business capability and developing a strategy for consistent, repeatable, industry standard testing.

Applicants need to demonstrate experience in a senior IT Architecture and Development role, including working on major business change programmes, as well as experience in developing IS/IT Strategy. A detailed understanding of ITIL v3, Prince 2, Development and Enterprise Architecture toolsets, e.g. TOGAF and ISEB is essential.
