We are looking to recruit a number of dynamic, highly motivated and multi-tasking HE Disability Officer to join our existing assessment team. Your role will involve assessing HE students support needs, co-ordinating disabled students allowance with Student Finance England. The post involves case management work, administration and the requirement with course tutors, write individual support plans and carry out regular reviews.
You will possess excellent communication skills, be committed to team work, have an understanding of the barriers associated with teaching and learning for individuals with disabilities. You will adopt absolute commitment to the student journey and manage their support from pre-entry to post exit.
Experience or qualifications in learning support work is essential, a background in teaching and learning would be desirable.
