Havering is a high achieving borough known for its strong partnership with schools and other providers. The Additional Education Needs Service is looking for an enthusiastic and visionary leader for its Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit.

The post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of Birnam Wood, the Authority’s Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit that caters for up to 18 Key Stage 3 pupils with behavioural difficulties. The main purpose of the Unit is to prepare pupils attending the Unit, both academically and socially, for a successful return to mainstream education at the end of their placement at the Unit.
