Required for September 2010, an inspirational and dynamic leader of Citizenship/PSHE. The individual will provide outstanding leadership to develop the role of Citizenship and PSHE across the school.
It is essential that applicants have the necessary vision and inspiration to maximise the potential of our students. We are a dynamic learning institution where teaching and learning is at the heart of our vision and progress. The role of our middle leadership team is essential to achieving our vision for the future and the successful candidate will be a key member of this energetic and committed team. We need someone who will ensure Citizenship is a successful, vibrant and leading department.The new DCSF/TDA incentive package the “Golden Handcuff” a payment of £10,000 which is paid in 3 annual instalments, at the end of each academic year completed in the post, may be available to the successful candidate displaying particularly good skills and strengths.
The School has Investors in People status. We have our Specialist Schools Status in Maths, Media and Arts as well as the Healthy Schools Award.
