Drapers’ Academy is seeking an inspirational leader to become our new Head of English Faculty.
Are you a dynamic, committed and inspirational teacher with a proven record of achieving excellent results? Do you have the drive and determination to lead and develop our English Faculty? The team of 11 staff has a blend of experienced teachers; including a subject specific Lead Practitioner, KS3 Co-ordinator, Literacy Co-ordinator, NQTs and trainees. The diverse staff make the Faculty an interesting and unique environment to work in. All teachers have their own classroom, equipped with an interactive whiteboard, visualizer and storage space. In addition, the faculty boasts a Faculty office, two mobile laptop trolleys and a set of iPads.
We are proud of our achievements as a school and this year’s results rose from 58% A*-C to 72% in English Language with 73% of pupils making at least 3 levels of progress.
