Head of Performance and Business Improvement

(Maternity cover, approx 9 months)

A key member of our Strategic Leadership Team, as Head of Performance and Business Improvement, you’ll make a truly significant contribution to the business. Providing full support to Executive colleagues, you’ll deliver operational strategies and corporate priorities and live the business values. What’s more, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the Group’s improvement strategies, policies, plans, systems and resources to ensure the effective development, management and operation of all performance management areas. Working with senior colleagues to make sure the business is seen by all as a fair, caring, trusting, respectful and open organisation that values its people and attracts the best talent will be key. When it comes to working with our residents to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of our services and integrating the Group’s equality and diversity plans into all aspects of corporate life, again, we will turn to you.

Educated to degree level or with the equivalent relevant training/experience, your experience of service delivery, service improvement activity and project management has been gained in a housing or customer service environment. A knowledge of housing regulation would be useful. You’ll also need evidence of working at a senior level and contributing to the work of an Executive team and other senior leaders, as well as leading and managing complex change projects and creating a culture of continuous improvement. Used to interpreting highly complex information to provide practical solutions and strategic direction, you’re committed to improving services to ensure the business develops and improves its service delivery to customers. In addition, you’re as comfortable managing staff as you are presenting information for a variety of purposes and audiences and have excellent communication and negotiating skills. Above all, you know how to motivate others to achieve the best results and a proven ability to lead and influence others to develop and imbed new business strategies.
