Commencing salary between £56,772 and £61,200 depending on experienceplus lease car or car provision allowance

If you have considerable post-qualification experience in a Local Planning Authority and are a full Corporate Member of the RTPI, this position may be of interest to you. Managing our Planning Division, which includes Development Control, Planning Policy and Enforcement, you will be responsible for 31 full and part time staff.

This is a challenging position so your experience must include appeal work involving public inquiries, presentations to committees and other bodies and budget and staff management. Ideally you will have a management qualification.

Political awareness, an ability to think strategically and excellent influencing and negotiation skills are essential.
