MRICS Property Professional to provide management, high level support and
a comprehensive and effective Valuation and Property Service in relation to:-

  • *The estate management of the Council’s investment property portfolio.
  • *Premises occupied by voluntary organisations.
  • *The Council’s leased property portfolio.
  • *Co-ordinate and oversee the revaluation of the Council’s non domestic rating assets.
    Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates with:
  • *Significant experience in negotiating complex landlord & tenant issues and managing a diverse property portfolio.
  • *An in depth knowledge of legislation and major legislative issues applicable to property management and valuation.
  • *Experience of preparing budgets, monitor and prepare reports on the performance of the investment portfolio.
  • *Ability to develop creative solutions to corporate property issues which anticipate the changing needs of service delivery and work effectively across departments in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • *Proven ability to manage staff.
  • *Proven ability to prepare complex policy documents and reports.
  • *Presentation skills.
  • *Ability to manage external property consultants.
    It is unlikely that candidates with less than 5 years post qualification experience will have the necessary skills required. Candidates must possess experience of working with large, complex, property holding organisations.
