St James’ C of E Junior School is an exciting and rapidly improving place to learn and work. The school is situated in Forest Gate, Newham, East London.

After years of exemplary service and superb leadership the Head Teacher is planning to retire fully at Easter. The governors are looking to decide her successor at this time in order to ensure continuity. The governors will agree a succession programme with the successful candidate, the possibilities of which will be explained at the interview.

This is an opportunity for a person who is committed to lead and develop further the Christian ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will be one who can build on the progress we have made since the last Ofsted inspection and take us forward to the next level.
