This new post will influence the priorities, policies & direction of the Councils` health improvement programme, developing, delivering & monitoring sustainable health & well being initiatives in the community & within the authority.

To achieve this, the post holder will need to be a real team player and have excellent skills and experience of partnership working with a wide range of key partners both internally within the council and externally with the Primary Care Trust and other key providers

If you are enthusiastic, highly motivated & conscientious, & bring a working knowledge of health needs assessments & possess health improvement skills together with the ability to communicate effectively we would like to invite you to apply to join our Commercial Team to aid the Council in realising its ambition.

The successful applicant will require to have had experience of planning, co-ordinating & delivering public health programmes & initiatives. A post graduate qualification would be desirable.
