Health and Safety Compliance Officer

The CYPS Education Estates Capital Projects (EECP) team are looking for an experienced personto take responsibility for ensuring compliance across the CYPS estate for health and safety, and building maintenance. The division is responsible for a variety of capital and asset management programmes in schools and community buildings.

You will ensure health, safety and building maintenance compliance across the CYPS estate by establishing appropriate controls and records, and carrying out regular reviews/audits. You will also support the divisional director and others in coordinating health and safety matters across the CYPS department.

You will lead and manage projects arising from this work and give and make critical decisions to the development of the projects. This is a “hands-on” role requiring regular interface with schools’ headteachers, senior management, contractors and consultants.
