Fixed term for 6 months (potential for extension based on performance and funding).

As part of our team you will play a critical role in the delivery and sustainability of our service.
You will carry out research and develop a deep understanding of Heritage Learning target audiences including their purchasing and media habits in order to develop strategies to effectively communicate with them.
You will develop and maintain an effective communications and engagement strategy that targets identified markets driving an increase in product sales and promoting awareness of Heritage Learning within the city, region and nationally.
You will manage the production of promotional material, literature and campaigns ensuring voice, designs and messages are consistent and in line with Heritage Learning’s brand and guidelines.
You will manage Heritage Learning’s website and social media accounts ensuring promotion and effective communication with relevant audiences, liaising with Hull City Council Communication Team as appropriate.
You will maintain marketing and communication records and accounts adjusting schedules and activity in line with responses and level of impact.
You must have experience of developing creative marketing and communication strategies and managing successful marketing campaigns along with demonstrable experience of producing high impact press releases, creative marketing literature, promotional copy and media activity.

Heritage Learning is an independent self-funding organisation that sits within Hull City Council’s local authority infrastructure. The service is 100% traded, operating as a business unit on a not-for-profit basis. All Heritage Learning employees are required to generate income and performance is based on meeting the specific requirements of the Heritage Learning annual business plan.
