Location:Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe, Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN33 1AW 

To take a lead in ensuring that the Academy delivers to all its students an innovative programme of study linked to their acquisition of a range of technical ICT and Musical skills which they can apply in a range of contexts within their learning journey at Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe and beyond.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To routinely deliver stimulating and innovative ICT and Music lessons to classes of students throughout the Academy
  • To lead the delivery of high quality ICT and music INSET and training to Academy staff, parents and Academy Councillors
  • To liaise and network with other Oasis Academies (primary and secondary) in the promotion and development of creative and inspiring projects which incorporate established best practice and emerging new technologies within the classroom

Across all the Oasis Academies ICT has a high profile and we aim to position our ICT provision at the cutting-edge. Our Oasis Central support team comprises ICT professionals of the highest calibre.

Oasis Academies have access to a national ICT infrastructure, with both a wide range of resources and enthusiastic, skilled professionals within Oasis Community Learning. The ICT Strategic Lead Professional at Oasis Academy Nunsthorpe (OAN) whenever required will be expected to attend INSET in London and elsewhere, in order to update professional knowledge and skills and to contribute to national policy and the development and improvement of ICT provision across all Oasis Academies.
