HOTFOOT Summer Playscheme 2010

HOTFOOT is a fun and exciting Easter and summer play scheme, with opportunities to get messy in the arts and crafts room, get healthy out on the sports field and generally have loads of fun, and the best bit of all is that you can get paid for the experience.

SITE MANAGER/ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER (£7.90 – £6.82) Applicants must be qualified to either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Playwork or have a PGCE in Primary Teaching: The post holder will be responsible for the general running of the site, including managing staff. Liaising with parents/carers, and dealing with the daily financial management.

SPECIALIST PLAYLEADERS (£5.94) Playleaders can be specialised in three areas: Sports and Games, Performing Arts and Arts and Crafts. Specialist playleaders will be required to run activities suitable for all age ranges and abilities, including those children with Special Needs.

PLAYLEADERS (£5.68) Playleaders are required to directly supervise a group of children. Playleaders are required to work as a strong team member and organise activities. Qualifications required: NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Play Work or equivalent.

SPECIAL NEEDS PLAY LEADERS (£6.09) Special needs playleaders are required to supervise the children on a 1:1 basis. Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable. Qualifications required: NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Play Work or equivalent.
