Hourly Paid Learning Support Assistant

The Learning Support Service provides support for learners who have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health & well being, autism spectrum condition, D/deaf/hard of hearing, Blind/partially sighted and acquired brain injury.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to work with learners who have physical disabilities. The role involves providing high quality one to one academic support, access assistance and personal care to male learners on cross college courses.

You will possess good written and verbal communications skills. Experience of working in a support setting is essential. You must hold a current moving & handling certificate, first aid certificate and possess personal care qualifications.

Applicants please note that due to the nature of this post involving personal care of male learners we require a male member of staff.
